    Dorothy Wallstein

    Dorothy Wallstein had a large private homeopathic and naturopathic medical practice in England for 23 years, and was the founding principal of a non-profit, independent college of Homeopathic and naturopathic medicine, which she ran for 11 years. Dorothy was the first 'alternative' medical practitioner to work in the British National Health Service as both a clinician and researcher. Her team's research was published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine. She also served on the Scientific and Ethical Committee of the Blackie Foundation Trust (London) to support research in holistic medicine.

     
     
 

About Dorothy Wallstein

Ojai, CA ~ Dorothy Wallstein had a large private homeopathic and naturopathic medical practice in England for 23 years, and was the founding principal of a non-profit, independent college of Homeopathic and naturopathic medicine, which she ran for 11 years. Dorothy was the first ‘alternative’ medical practitioner to work in the British National Health Service as both a clinician and researcher. Her team’s research was published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine. She also served on the Scientific and Ethical Committee of the Blackie Foundation Trust (London) to support research in holistic medicine.

Dorothy Wallstein then earned her masters degree in management through the Sloan Fellowship Program at London Business School, University of London in 1991. She ran her own consulting company in London, specializing in strategic and holistic organization development, leadership and executive coaching and large-scale change management for major clients. After moving back to the USA in 1995, she worked as a Senior Manager for Accenture and served on the boards of the Krishnamurti Foundation of America, and LightHawk (pilots for the environment),

Since 1999, she has worked as an independent consultant and group facilitator, and has become a part-time holistic health coach to empower clients to explore consciousness and creativity, and to take responsibility for their own healthcare. She lost her beloved partner, Marty Weiner, in April 2011. She now works with Mary Ransom, MFT to provide monthly holistic retreats for widows at her beautiful property in southern California.
