Minneapolis West Chapter
Waconia, MN ~ After losing her husband Mike in 2011 after a lengthy battle with Melanoma, Chapter Leader Lyn Kienholz was searching for like-minded women to whom she could relate; that were also looking for ways to honor their past but live and thrive in the present. She found Carolyn, MWC and the rest is history!
Minneapolis Westo Social Hour is hosted the second Tuesday of each month at Lyn’s home in Waconia, MN, from 6:30-8:30pm. Everyone brings a small dish to share and has the chance to mingle, catch up with old friends, as well as make new ones. It’s a friendly group of unique women from all walks of life who engage in fascinating, thought-provoking conversation that can only be experienced by showing up! “Modern,” for us, means, “Living for today while honoring yesterday.” We currently have widows who range from ages 26 through 65+ and every person’s voice is precious and valuable. It’s a space to laugh, cry, contemplate, dream, and empower leaving all judgments at the door. Come as you are and leave when you need to–it’s that casual.
